I was a Tight End while playing in the Pop Warner football league .
It didnt pay much but I was able to buy a Schwinn Varsity 10 speed bicycle .

Professional? No, not professional, but pretty close. I played 2 years of offensive tackle for the Valley Forge Junior High School junior varsity football team.

Try not to be overly impressed.

I was a winter sport guy. No money in that. Expert skier in the Downhill & GS, along with Hockey. Continued doing both for a few years while in the Army. A few of my buds were in the 76 & 80 Olympics.

Being from northern NH, kind of just what we did

Yes..someone has played professional sports......I've raced where there was a purse involved......so technically that is a professional sport..or at least that is what I tell the tax guys......

A good friend on mine was in the 84 Olympics and won the heavyweight Greco Roman wrestling gold. I'm referring to Jeff Blatnick. I used to wrestle heavy weight in high school and tied up a couple times with Jeff when he was getting ready to go to the Olympics, man he bounced me around like a rubber ball.

Well I guess technically I did also. I was a NSSA member and shot for purses.(Won my share,)

NSSA= National Skeet Shooting Association. I shot all 4 gauges and was a serious competitor in the 70s!
