Default More Horsepower
Best $500 I ever spent.

So you know I've started to campaign a 2020 BRZ with a club member. She bought the car, I spent $5,000 on the go fast parts, including the OpenFlash Tuner for $500. First 3 runs without tune, 2nd three runs with tune.

Her car is still only half baked, so we're likely not going to be completely competitive just yet. I'd really like to get long tube headers (adds a bunch of torque), and cat-back exhaust, and then I can put the Stage 2 tune on. Regardless, today we finally got to do some before and after testing and all I can say is I AM IMPRESSED.

Dropping 1.9 seconds on a 56 second course is HUGE. Becky didn't drop because she's still using 3rd gear on side B of the track, and I actually think her HP has dropped in that rev range. The power is up top. I've driven GWiz's BRZ a bazillion times, so I know how fast it is. Even before I took a lap, I did some full throttle pulls 1st thru 4th up/down the airstrip. The horsepower gain is extremely noticeable.

Very satisfied customer.

C8 will be here last week of May or first week of June if no other complications at the factory. I plan on getting a 2nd set of wheels and proper rubber for it. For me it will be a play car on Saturdays while I compete in Becky's car, but I plan on taking it to some national events by myself.
