I was shadowbanned years ago, which I guess was just temporary, but I never went back until we had the migration of refugees from their place, so I figured, what the Hell, and have posed occasionally over there. They deleted my Libertarian avatar. I mean, OK, yeah, it qualifies as political, but come on....we're gonna ban references to even fringe loser parties? I guess we are.

Hey Folks.....I'm also a refuge from CF. I was looking for information on new mods there like Chemdawg and found this place. I even emailed a few CF'ers to ask what the hell was going on...change of TOS, new owners, completely new mod oversight, etc..

Here's what happened to me.....

So I jokingly called someone a "clown" in a post (C-19 vaccine thread, I think)....very mild by PR&C standards, no foul language, no cursing, no threats, etc.

Post gets deleted. I can't believe it.

So I post in that thread that I can't believe the post got deleted.....BANNED ! 30 day suspension for the high crime of SITE BASHING.

I've been in online forums for 22 years and NEVER heard of "Site Bashing."

I've been at CF and the PR&C section for over 16 years....you had some outstanding, fair mods like "Grumpy" and a few others....in all those 16 years I think I got a 1 or 2 day "time-out" maybe like 10 or 12 or more years ago...I can't even remember.

Having someone like CHEMDAWG as a Moderator, totally unsupervised, apparently settling scores or imposing a PC, micro-aggression free zone or whatnot is ridiculous.

I guess if I posted in the Car section that I didn't like a particular Corvette color, I'd be accused of GM or Sponsor-bashing.

What a joke.....

They added some lib-moderation to balance shit out before the election. A bunch of Skittle-eatin' pHrEds were complaining to IB. IB laid some smack down on the power-hungry goobs usually in charge and tossed a fart in their church.

Even though I'm a Pub, I think it's funny as shit

Raazor, who or what is IB ? I've never understood the hierarchy or ownership over at CF....just posted (99.9% of the time in PR&C) and never worried about the higher-ups.
