Default PSA: Never buy this crap

Never, ever....EVER, buy these. They are utter crap.

Picked them up at the grocery store because I just wanted to grab some frozen patties, and didn't really pay attention to the brand. (my bad)They were cheap, and I figured it was because they probably had a bread filler and some extra fat.

Smelled fine cooking one, but took one bite and it was literally inedible. Looked at the ingredients and it had beef hearts listed as a filler. Growing up in the country, I've had my share of beef hearts, and the beef heart is not what made it inedible. They are probably filling it with floor sweepings, asshole trims and God knows what else. I usually don't go back to a grocery store with a complaint, but I'm taking this load of garbage back, and I'll leave a suggestion on the company site that they should drop the brand.
Utterly disgusting. I didn't even let my dog have it.

I always get fresh hamburg and we have a pattie maker, they are pretty cheap, and freeze a couple of pounds of patties at a time and vac seal them with about 5 or 6 in a bag. Then you always have them when you feel like a burg.

I laugh due to getting boned...see what I did there...too.

Dinty Moore Roast Beef something or other tv like dinner. I use like due to it being a packaged meal that can be left out on the counter. I've eaten MREs and some are not bad. You just have to figure out which ones you like. So, I saw the ole DM thingy on the commissary shelf and thought I'd give it a chance when I want something different. I got home, threw it in the cupboard, forgot about, and then found it a while later. Oh, I was absolutely right it was different. I nuked that bad boy, got my fork, and gave it the ole sniff test. Hmmm, well, that's not a good smell, I thought. I got a very small piece and put it on the ole taste buds. I spit that shit out, dump the rest in the trash, and said enough of that fukkin' experiment. That shit was worse that even a bad MRE. So, good luck with that shit and the others similar, DM.

I usually do that, and make my own blend while I'm at it. I just got lazy.

On googling them, it appears they have had recalls for wood contamination and a few years back for e coli.

Great. Just f'ckin' great.

Next time you mix your own, add about 3/4 of a tablespoon of fish sauce per pound. They won't turn out fishy tasting at all, it's umami. You'll like it.

Wasabi mayo is good with it and is easy to make. Wasabi mayonnaise: 1 tsp soy sauce, 1/4 tsp wasabi powder and 1 cup mayonnaise mixed together. Refrigerate for at least an hour before using.

Will do. Oh by the way, you haven't burned down that sweet barn out back yet, right? My friend has a nice U-Haul trailer he got for cheap. (Looks down while whistling and kicking rocks)

It has 15 posts sitting in 2 ft of concrete. Better bring a crane and a jackhammer.

Nope, we don't need that. He also has two new come-a-long he just got at a swap meet. I figure they're twice as good as others due to being "Made in China and assembled in Mexico".

I feel your pain brother. I f'd up and picked up a box of those years ago when we were going camping. When you open the package, it doesn't take long to realize that there is no actual meat in those things. They were f'n orange looking. I was thinking on the lines of Bubba Burgers, and dammit man. I was shocked. Every last one of them went into the trash....True story. In defense of them, we may have been suckered by some hockey puck company into finishing their product. Only explanation I can come up with.

It's a wonder you didn't try to give it to me along with that beer I left at your place for a year. That would've made a gastro delight!!!

I like Bacardi, drink what I want, and store the rest. I don't drink beer. So, I just applied my Bacardi way to that beer without a thought. Next time you show up, I'll make sure to put Post It notes on the beer I'll have waiting for you; New.
