my idea of a woodworking business got shelved real quick a few weeks ago, fees and taxes just way too high for the scope i had in mind. back to being a hobby, trying to cover expenses.

I actually made sure it was included in the lease.
I will put some glass shelves in it and use it as a fridge.
I can cross buying a fridge off my list now.

So Tuesday or Wednesday I get the Lease from the landlords lawyers.
Get my lawyer to look at it and then if all is good then I get the keys and start some demolition.

I've already called 3 companies that do concrete polishing and booked them all within 30 minutes of each other just so they know they should keep their pricing competitive.

Alarm, internet, and phone go in on the 1st of October.
There is a networking company right beside me, and have been told I may be able to get my internet from them for a much, much lower price.

Now all the real work and running around begins. Especially doing everything myself.
Need to go to Costco and get a membership, which gets me a cheaper merchant account and C.C. terminal. Bank accounts need to open, 1 for regular business and 1 for taxes that need to be paid.
Need a garbage bin out in the front, also scaffolding and lot's of paint and primer.
Not to mention gas and electrical account changes.

I am making a list to keep it all in check so hopefully everything falls in to place. I've done this one too many times and have a pretty good grasp on timing and the succession of things.

I also found out from my Insurance broker that I get 10% off insurance for the alarm and another 5% because all the storefront glass has a safety film applied to it.

So yeah, this is my last week as a free man.
