The one time I looked this year, it was all new faces. Most of the posse faded away. Sweets vanished from the face of the Earth, Friz sold his Vette...I guess it's you, me and the rat

The old guys are still hanging in there! Withe the '95 tucked away for the winter here in SD, I got myself another project to work on. I sold the '90 Silverado Blazer and bought a '01 Chevrolet Express van that my wife found for me on the internet. I have been working all winter on converting it into a stealth camper. It took me a whole month to custom build the kitchen unit but it turned out pretty good, I think. The wife is happy with it. Sure glad I have a heated wood shop. It is cold here in SD but at least we do not have to content with all the snow that they have out east. If you want to follow my progress with the van, I have it posted here:
RV.Net Open Roads Forum: My Chevrolet Express van Class B- camper Glad I am getting it about wrapped up because soon it will be time to get out the Corvette and start thinking about the Black Hills Corvette Rally again. |

Not that there's anything wrong with that
I like it better here, it's more fun. CF off topic bashed the hell out of the C4, here it's just some mild teasing. And I've been driving the 89 every day, my DD Mustang won't start and with highs in the teens I'm not getting out there to find out why. |

I've signed in there a few times over a couple months cuz there is still a lot of C4 DIY info there, plus all those DIY stickys that Socalman put up long ago. |

I'm still here, although Duke obviously wishes I were not, since he conveniently forgot to mention me.
I still check in over there occasionally as well- while I enjoy this place more and felt they were a bit heavy handed over there, I never had an issue there. In fact, I am buying a car from a member over there if this stupid weather will let up for me to drive the 5 hours or so to get it... |

Dude, that C5 turned out to have more issues than you do. I ran from it. (Which begs the question of why I hang around you?)
I have actually agreed on a deal with a guy from the other place to purchase his LT4 car, but this infernal weather is keeping me from picking it up. (It's about 6 hours away) Being as how I work at the State Capitol, and the legislators are in session, I can't take off.. so I can only go on Friday or Saturday to get it. These moronic snow/ice storms we keep getting are just enough that I can't get down to get it. This Friday was my plan, but now they are calling for snow this weekend too. Freakin' ridiculous. I live in Arkansas, not Pennsylvania. I want my summer. And my LT4. |

An LT4 might be too much for you. How are you going to get in and out of a C4 after all those donuts anyhow?
And if that C5 had my issues (such as?), you'd need a subscription |

Hey guys, I still stop in once in a while also. I just don't post up near as much. I don't do much at the other place either though. I do miss the good times though.
Remember, the posse originally came over from the CF. While they were here it was great fun poking jabs at CF because they provided so much material. Bobby, let us know if you get the LT4 and of course pics, pics, pics. |

And I don't post near as much as I did when the posse was here. Partly because the group splintered and partly because of my other hobby that I dove into about 2 years ago. Ham Radio...In two years I've went from a mild interest to the top license, put up a 50 foot tower and antenna, spent enough money on radios to buy the LT4 nearly, and have moved into learning Morse Code, which is currently kicking my tail. On the bright side, I've successfully communicated with/tormented folks in over 150 countries... |

No pigs hit. Yeah, there's a group of ham radio guys from Ok,LA,TX,AR,TN & MS that gathers and talks pretty much every evening. Kinda like this place used to be, so I enjoy that. And that snow crap that Sweetsie could've left in Canada is definitely headed this way. We are supposed to get up to 3 inches tonight, and more tomorrow night. Made it through the entire winter nearly weather free, but when we get close to spring and I need pretty weather, by golly that's the sign for blizzards. |
