Naw, I'm not much of a coffee snob/connoisseur. But I am addicted. I average about 5 cups a day. Making a pot right now in fact.

Ten dollars buys me enough coffee to last a month. To drink that much Starbuxz I'd need a bank loan

Not if you make it at home. I buy a 2.5 pound bag of ground Starbuck's coffee for $13 at BJ's. I make 3-4 cups about half the mornings (when I feel like coffee), and 1-2 cups the other mornings for my wife. A bag lasts us about a month. It works out to about $0.15 per cup, which I can afford.

At one time in the city walking cross town I would stop and get coffee at Starbucks....I liked the taste but one day I changed my walking route (to confuse the criminals waiting to rob me )
and saw a mobile cart on a corner with a line.....I got an egg & cheese on a roll and a medium sized coffee that was very good and both were cheaper then Starbucks coffee.

I like Intelligentsia. They roast and then ship it the same day. I order whole bean and grind at home. Drip or cold brew (made night before) during the week and usually French press on the weekends.
