Yes, Fletch took it from mid Jan to March ( I think 8 weeks) and then again in May. It calmed down his skin infection while taking it but it would flare up again. We had the skin biopsy to find a specific antibiotic to help him. His skin issues are secondary probably due to the tumors. He’s on baytril and clavamox now. Vets and I are on the keep him comfortable plan.
Hope your doggie feels better soon.

The dog I'm giving meds to is a VPB (vicious pit bull); same thing happens to him a couple of weeks after his meds are done....so the vet gave him this new med to try.

The doggie dermatologist that my vet consulted recommended 8 weeks of antibiotics for skin infection. I was also bathing Fletch twice a week with medicated shampoo, chlorhexidine based. He’s less scabbie and doesn’t seem to be itching so he gets a bath once a week now.
