Default WEIRD WEATHER......
WEIRD WEATHER.....for the 1st time I recall......

7pm this evening, I washing dishes and pay no attention to the BRIGHT sunlight outside the kitchen window......so Linda says it's raining pretty heavy out front....I glance up and say BS, very funny......we look out back, no rain, and so to look out front, and damn if she not right....RAIN fairly heavy....mixed in with sunlight....

Floriduh dun struck again......and it's been 100f and 98% humidity for the last couple months.....ok maybe two-3 daze it was only 94f.....

Yeh, but not to the extent it was falling out front, and NOTHING out the bright sunny kitchen window the cut off line on rainfall was really sharp.....

It's not exactly common, but I have experienced it several times growing up in South Florida and maybe a handful of times over the last 20 years living in the Tampa Bay area. It's kind of like seeing a dolphin for me. Whenever it happens, regardless of how many times it has happened before, I always take pause and soak it in. Definitely a Florida thing AFAIK.

Got older in the DC region of Md. moved here some 25 years ago, and never ever thought to look around, and I would have never noticed, except for my wife looking out front.....still think it was VERY strange, dry as hell out the kitchen window, and some 30' away our the LRm window, heavy enough rainfall......

Same thing happens here occasionally. Typically it's the South side of the house that is getting rain while the North side stays bone dry.

Because storm fronts only happen in Floriduh.
