I have seen that series. I t is good but if you want to see a video series that really goes in depth regarding the Vietnam war watch Vietnam The 10 Thousand Day War.

I read a book recently entitled; Westmoreland: The General Who Lost Vietnam. It didn't paint a flattering picture at all.

I think Military Tactics were still stuck in the 1940's and 1950's along with the early "PC" nature of things it was pretty much destined to fail...We were trying to fight an unconventional war with conventional tactics...

I don't know who said it, probably a communist, but the quote is something like "You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea" or something-a-ruther.

Also, the South Vietnamese Government was pretty much rotten and nobody liked them, including us.

The Vietnamese got walked on and screwed over for hundreds of years, they got motivated and said **** off, no more. For better or for worse, It's their country I suppose...

Like Korea, VNam was another futile venture into a land where just WHAT is it of any of OUR concern about?? let them go commie and starve, not worth one of our guys ......

note it was DoMoCraps that got us involved in that shit both times.....WHY??

what was the REALITY over those decisions??

and then of course the loss or Iran to the Trashcanistan regions.....WHY?? Karter....another DoMoCrap........bringing on the islamic wars now.....

why?? WHY we have ground personnel in them places??? WTF does our men in Korea prove at this point?? we can fight plenty hard by remote control....

been that way for a long time, I really think there is lotsa HUGE money behind this crap....and it's from somewhere, buying influence in the totally corrupt DC region.....
