If it's 1/2" wide, it's probably 3M 06384 and that's what I'd recommend getting to reattach it. Easiest way to get the bug shield off is to cut the foam, then dissolve the adhesive with either PPG DD330 or naphtha. If you can't find naphtha in the paint section of HD/Lowe's, Zippo lighter fluid will work too. Do not use lacquer thinner. You'll be there forever with Goo-Gone/Goof-Off.

The longer you leave it on, the stronger the adhesive bond.

If there were women and / or liquor involved, I believe you get three strikes before having to confess to anyone, and make amends.

I fuked up once, only once, bought the wife an acura, that POS was gone in a year.

An aside with correlation, when I was young but off the teat, a buddy told on Judgment Day we all sit in a room and watch the lives of everyone.
Since then I acted right, as did not want everyone to see my sins.

Anyone know if this is true??
