I only knew him from forum interactions, but I remember him fondly. He had a beautiful, amazing personality. And such a tragic ending.

I can only imagine, to go like he did, has to be one of the worsts deaths imaginable...to get lost, get stuck...middle of nowhere, no traffic...go off on a road that ends in the desert...you burn tires hoping to get help...you finally gather what little supplies you have, and go off looking for shade..or help, you find a tree...you sit down, you know your water is gone...you are just waiting for it. I recall he had a journal where he had jotted down the events right up til the end...

I hate to think about the way he went.......
I love to remember the good times we shared. The late night phone calls, the NashVegas weekend, that he was the only male my parrot ever liked, and plenty of laughs at CIs.

Went for a drive while out in Vegas for a poker tournament. Got the car stuck in the middle of nowhere down a road that seldom sees any traffic.

I didn't know him or have much interaction online with him. I remember reading about it. Still seems too strange to me in our modern world.

Met him a couple of times at the fun CI's.Great guy to talk to and had a great aspect on life.

I never met him, but did meet his family at the cruise-in, where a bench at the museum was dedicated to him. Nice people, and appreciated the kindness of the Corvette people.
