Almost grabbed a bottle of Hendrick's today but all the knowitalls on the internet say Bombay Sapphire goes better with the St Germain liqueur. Been waiting a while to get some since I tried it at Christmas.
My wife likes Sapphire but she is a gin drinker. I normally drink scotch but when I do drink gin I prefer Hendricks

I never buy regular size cans either. Tall boys 4ever.
You and your metric system. When I was in Marrakesh with my mother at the resort, they only sold bottles of beer that were 25 ml. WTF!?!? About $7 US, and I bought about 12 each night to bring back to the room. That's NOT a normal sized bottle of beer.

Regardless, wouldn't trade the world for the experience I had with my mom. Paris, Marrakesh, and Amsterdam....priceless. I smoked pot with my mom in Amsterdam. And I don't smoke pot.

25mL is like a tablespoon bro. LOL

250mL maybe? That's like a kid-size juice box.

355mL is a regular size can of beer. 473 mL is a Pint. Most imported tall beers are 500mL (1/2 L), except Guinness which is a shitty 440mL. Crazy Brits.

OK, you are right. 250 ml. I knew the bigger ones had a 33 in it for 'murica sized beer. It was small.

No worries, I understand your preference lies elsewhere. I can't generally convince the chancellor of the exchequer that a $200 to $600 bottle is a prudent investment. However, I do have a "toy fund" and she will join me if I do splurge a bit. You are a good friend to treat Scott to the best.

We went to Jamaica last year and I think they had 250mL cans of beer and I was like WTF? Never seen them before.

I tipped that dude like crazy to fill my fridge every day.

I have not had the (dis?) pleasure. Gin tastes like sucking on the fresh cut end of a pine bough. Me and Juniper berries just don't see eye to eye.

Trust me, when that small amount is gone, I will most definitely be replacing it with another. Scott turned me on to quality scotch. He's in town and we may connect on Sunday.

Hell, I'm not adverse to trying a 25 year bottle for $2,500.

I've had that bottle since my birthday in August. It's just a treat to share with friends.

It is SO SMOOTH.

Last cruise that my wife, daughter, and I went on, I tipped the dinner bar guy really well. Let's just say that at the end of that 8-day cruise, I paid for about 25% of the alcohol that I consumed. Take care of people and they take care of you.

Last year we did a river cruise in France. Laid a hefty tip on the bar tender the first night. It paid well

Agreed.

I remember going to an open bar wedding and the tip jar was empty so I said to the bartender "Let me get this started for you" and I threw in a twenty. For the rest of the night he would literally serve me next every time I walked up no matter how many people were in front of me and he even brought me beers to my table during dinner service while the bar was closed.

Exactly.

I tipped my table bar guy $20 cash every night. I paid for 2 drinks, and likely had 6 or 7 each night. The 2 days at open seas, he also served on the sun deck. He brought me 2 buckets of beer and adult drinks for my wife...no charge....just another $20 thank you tip.
