Which header?
Is easier to get out and back in, pass or driver? This is on a 2000 that still has all the factory stuff.

I always found the driver's side much easier. That's with the alternator and oil filter out of the way of course.
Depending on which brand header, the pass. side can range from "not bad", to "PITA", to the "you gotta be f'king kidding me" frustration levels. |

Oil filter? Are you drinking or testing me? Either is fine.

Yes, and no, respectively.
If you're dropping the left header in from the top, you'll find the filter a definite obstruction (much like the starter motor is on the right side). If pushing it up from the bottom, don't know, never tried it. |

Did mine from the bottom. Both of said items have to be removed in order to get the headers in.
I have OBX LTs.

I dropped the driver side in from the top and was sort of surprised how easy it was. I don't remember if I had to remove anything to get them to fit. The passenger side was a PITA because I had to remove the starter and jack the engine a little to push the headers in from the bottom.
I have A.R. longtubes.
