Default Covid Relief Package contains PORK
Nothing new, but I wish the President would veto it and go on TV to show the American people the PORK that is in this bill, including money for foreign governments. Then, determine which representative wanted a particular PORK to be inserted in the bill before he voted for it. I know it's been done lots of times, but IMHO, it sucks and it's disgusting and it needs to stop. So only $600 for families, yeah what can that buy and for how long.

I'm not certain even the coauthors of the bill know for certain whatall's in those 6000 pages. I can however guarantee no member of either house read the entire thing before they passed it. But now they all get to ignore the travel restrictions they all tell us to follow and can go home for Christmas.

Apparently there is language in that bill that would make the EO from '18 null and void. Trump MUST veto this bill.

Pocket veto. Trump may be a boisterous PITA but he is not stupid. He offered them more than they ended up accepting, will most realize that ? Unlikely due to the flow of info through the media.

More than likely won't happen . And even if he did, it would be largely for show since the bill passed by a supermajority (more than 2/3 voted for passage in both houses of congress).

Trump should address the nation about the bill, and start READING off the bullshit that's in it. Does anyone think that every single "few hundred million or billion" that goes to foreign countries isn't part of a quid pro quo for those countries to kick back money to the congressman or men that got it pushed through?

He should then either direct veto on day 10 after receiving it, or pocket veto it. Make the congress vote on it again. Sure, you can override Trump, but you'll now have to do it in the cold light of day, where most Americans now know the bullshit you're voting for.
