It was about the mods/admins banning "bar threads". I'm mystified why I caught that ban as I had not participated in a bar thread in about 2 years when that went down. I guess being a "former" bar thread participant was enough to catch the ban.

I used to be a regular on the ban cycle.

Years ago, a few of us would hit C6 Gen or C5 Gen threads with picture rampages just to screw around with the grey hairs. Some thread about floormats would suddenly get dozens of random pictures.....pizza, farm animals, carnival food....you name it. They would post an angry response, and we would hit that thread for days with pictures.

So they hit us with bans and changed the rules around to stop us, but not before we got the geritol crowd pretty wound up....

I mostly get on the forums aat work between jobs and quite often VB is times out when loading or our firewall completely blocks it. I think the tags "ADOG" and "PORTER" set off alarms.

IMO they are all bipolars.
They may never do anything about a "photo", but other days you'd get a 30 days ban for posting the same photo posted by others.
