The chance of a college swimmer and a college football player getting a degree isn't even close. If the high percentage of cfb players don't make it in the pro's it's back to the hood. The college swimmer's go on to excel in other professions. It takes more skill to be able to swim at that level than to catch a ball or block someone. Or pronounce Ask or both correctly.

Also the odds of a college swimmer saving someone's life and not ending in jail or prison is much greater than a cfb player that does three years in college and gets out with a 10th grade education.

I don't watch any college sports on T.V. Once in awhile i'll watch a game or two during the year because my best friends is a USC graduate. We have 19 professional teams out here and i don't follow any of them. I only go when i get free tickets. You being from Colorado i could understand why sports isn't that big with you. My posts are because of post #2 .
