Yes
What Jeff Said. Limited room I guess. There is a changing room/loo that emerges from the aft couch. Move the cushion, raise the tent, and there it is. |

Looking at the prop, ( your last pic ) it looks to be stainless steel. Stainless props are about three times more expensive than aluminum.
The advantage of stainless over aluminum is they wear less in abrasive conditions. ( like running close to bottom ). Aluminum props are preferred in areas where prop strikes are likely as the softer aluminum will bend the blades instead of destroying the shafts and gears in the lower unit. Both types of props can be repaired ( correctly formed and balanced) by the Marina or a subcontractor. Your choice on what material you want to purchase for the spare. Make you you purchase the correct pitch. ( pitch is the amount of forward motion in one full turn with NO slip ) Jeff |

Depending on the manufacturer's design those pontoons range in shape from simple cylinders, to cylinders with "angle iron" appended for some "bite" on the surface to pointy, canoelike profiles. All of these shapes tend to simply glide atop the surface much like a flat stone skipped across a puddle making directional control sluggish at best at slow speed. As stated as well, wind complicates things considerably if it happens to be blowing in any direction other than that you desire; adding to the fun and art of steering what is essentially 2 LP gas cylinders lashed together with an engine stuck between.

Pontoon boats are bad enough with the standard profile in the wind.
Here's my '24 with the full enclosure which acts like a big sail |

Lots of pontoon boats here on our lake. Good boat for shallow water. Very stable and smooth ride. |

Are props all the same size? Is a plastic one ok for just emergency use or can one be used all the time ? It seems that being able to just change out a fin or two as needed is a good idea. Is that even a real thing ? |

Fun boats to relax or do the party thing on.
As mentioned, be aware of the wind and current; they make tight maneuvers a bitch. I wouldn't try any practice on windy or crowded days. Scott

first stop, yammie dealer for something a little less underpowered. that 90 wont get you going fast enough with a load of wimenz and beer, but it looks clean. Good luck!
don't listen to that first day/last day bullshit. Modern boating is fun. modern motors aren't the pain in the ass they once were. |

Nice! I loves me a party barge! The only thing better than owning a boat, is having a buddy that owns a boat. My friend lives on the lake near us and we always take the pontoon out when visitors come. Enjoy!

On a serious note, that "little" 90 will scoot a 20' can boat better than you might think. Unless you're planning to get skiers up on plane quickly. Scott

Yes, it's a real thing. My SIL's boat came with a plastic prop and it's the only kind it's ever had.
