Do want. I have the first 5D, ALMOST jumped to the MK II, but decided to wait.

I've thought about a buying a 5D classic to give FF a try.

I've read some hype about the III having poor or very slow AF.

That was the knock on the II.

Supposedly the III will be better.

I had a 5D system for a year and loved it Then we decided to stick with Nikon so it went away. Nikon insisted on it....and they crushed all traded in equipment. I pictured this fancy crusher till a Nikon rep told me that they just took the stuff out into the parking lot and went at it with sledge hammers.

I have an old D300 now but it's a little workhorse.
