Default De-badged

I have taken a bigger notice of the larger number of ricers out there lately who have taken all of the badges off the cars...like if they rice it out and take the badge off we won't be able to tell the difference between a VW and an exotic.

Then I was going through some old pics of my C4 from about 6 years ago, and discovered after I did all the work to my C4 that I was one of the founders of the no badge club, and went to the extreme.

The one on the fuel door is still there, but notice anything missing on the rear?

For some reason, I've never been a fan of the "nude" look (on cars that is). I don't the Vettes are overly badged. Works for me. But to each his own. I'm the last guy to judge what someone else does to their car.

Joe, you make a good point. What I don't understand is why kids want to put Honda badges on an Acura!! I see early 2000ish model Integra's with Honda badges on them all the time.

I am with you actually. I am a Corvette Enthusiast, proud that I am able to own one (my second one actually) and proud to display the badging on the car and several articles of clothing that I frequently wear.

If you think that is good, keep your eye out for a dark blue/black Chrysler 300 on 24's with a Bently type front grill, rear badging and an "R-Type" badge. Seen it twice in Chesapeake.

My dad debadged his '65 shortly after he got it new. I prefer it that way, honestly.

I was de-badged in 2005. I haven't had to worry about knockin' up my wife since then.

I saw a Jetta on the freeway the other day that had Bimmer badges on it.
When I finally get done with the c3, I will probably air brush the badges on just to make it easier on the wax/polish events.
