And here is a news flash. Before I was in the education industry I worked with a long list of some of the biggest companies in the world. (means nothing to me, but it shows that your contention that I have to lie about such mundane things is wrong)

I don't need to lie. I do what I do. I know who I know.

In fact, I'm so easy to find online it would take minutes to figure out who I "hang with".

I am always entertained by people who view others through their own perceived limitations. Instead of thinking "wow, you are lucky" they think "they must be lying. I could never achieve that"

How can you judge that by his posts? It would probably shock you to learn who all I know. I don't make claims or use them to influence my point, but don't assume that everyone here is incapable of knowing people at the top.

For example, I will drop one name, Reed Hastings CEO of Netflix. I do know him personally, we have had many one on one conversations and I know his philosophies and his view on the economy, but I won't use his words, that's for him to do when he wants, that's called respect. Does that shock you? As he stated, it's pretty easy to find me on the Internet as well and get a pretty good idea of who I hang with, past and present.

Maybe to some, but if you look at it from a different perspective (which I believe the OP is coming from), it lends an bit of validity to the statement.

I know that if I have an opinion, it counts to a certain extent, but when my opinion is backed/shared by Navy CAPT's and Admirals that I work with, it carries a bit more weight.

Agreed, to use some one's name and quote opinions given during personal conversations to make your own point is just that, but I just find it insulting that Phil seems to feel he has the right to be judge and jury with his magical ability to judge a person's position in life by their posts. Especially given his affinity to the "People's Party". He is a hypocrite on so many levels.

This. I didn't mention any names either. My point has zero to do with who I know. The point is that these people have a very good position to see what is happening.

Never said that. If people are content, they shouldn't bitch about their jobs, their lifestyle, their pay scale, etc.

If you actually knew me, you would know I have zero aspirations for that life. My focus is entirely on my family and America's future innovators. I choose the life I have. If I wanted to make huge money, I'd choose something else.
