Thanks All ... for the warm welcomes... From what I hear you're all great people.. It took a major event like Bryan selling the "96" to get me to actually write something. Every couple months, however I have been signing on and reading parts of the current conversations.... I usually sign off laughing...

Not sure. Drove through the Dodge dealership to look at a diesel Mercedes I was thinking about for a commuter car, and it was running fine. Parked it, took the Mercedes for a test drive, came back and it hasn't run since.

It'll crank and run from starter fluid in the intake, so it is a fuel issue. Didn't seem to have pressure at the fuel rail- didn't have a gauge, so I didn't test it- but I had a new fuel pump with me. Took about ten minutes to change it- nothing. Doesn't seem to be kicking on. I've got the fuel pump relay out now, gonna pick up one this morning. Maybe that's it.

Oh, and Bryan's dad- welcome! I'm the resident cop/hillbilly/moonshiner/possum eater. But you knew that if you've been checking in much....

Jim, I will have you know I got my mancard back fair and square. I stole it back while you were stoned or passed out.
And the Miata was a one time mis-step, the PTCruiser the wife's. I have valid excuses.
Beside, Friz had/has a Fiero....that ain't any more less froo-froo than my miata was. Why didn't he loose his man/dog card???
