/thread. Everyone has the ability to make something of themselves if they want but they have to take responsibility and put in the effort. IMHO If people choose to hold themselves back because of what their ancestors went through, it's like a slap in the face to those ancestors.

Now I return to the original topic of the thread..... Knowing there are people on staff to help with the wardrobe for any President and First lady, shouldn't there be someone to help them with basic things like manners?

Yes, we do. The senior menu can be partaken of between 3:30-4:30 p.m. each day. This allows you to get home by bedtime (8:00 p.m.). Handily capped parking is of course provided. Hell, we'll even give you a handily capped sticker!

At our Casino the senior menu is 24/7 and about 1/4 of the parking spaces are handicapped spaces. Seriously. These people know who their clientele are.

WTH!!!! Bedtime is at 7:00pm and only on special occasion can it be extended to 7:30.

Shit happens in history and it's going to be ugly. Can't help how our Great Great Great Grandparents had to survive. They did what they could, and it wasn't always pleasant. And just look at the horrible treatment of the American Indian. Do they even teach kids about the Trail of Tears? Drive across this country and look at the crap land the Indians were given after they were forced off their land, when THEY were indigenous. Here in GA, they owned all the land where the first gold rush took place. It is a horribly sad hand they were dealt. And look at how they have survived, making a living off their crap land by building casinos. Sooner or later you just gotta put that stuff behind you, value the life you have been given, because you only get one chance. This is the greatest nation ever built, where you had the freedoms to live any life you could dream of. It is sad that so many people want a mediocre life, and they would rather rely on someone else to provide that for them. Leave it to the liberals to teach their supporters to settle for mediocracy.

My GG Grandfather. I've spent one w/e a month, 6 mos. out of the year, for the last 20 yrs. to keep his and the other boys of '61 (1861) memory alive. He died at less than 30 yrs. of age serving with the Confed. Inf. He was a poor dirt farmer. He left a widow with three kids to suffer through reconstruction. I will keep his memory and my southern heritage alive, till the day I die.

We do a living history there...on that VERY ground. It is a moving experience to camp there for the w/e. Have you watched the 'Andersonville' movie ? Pretty accurate and realistic. You should visit there, if you haven't already.
