If you plan on keeping the car "forever", and one day may return to stock, then keep the motor. Once it is gone, it will be gone. If this is something you just have to play with and will sell in a year or 2, then maybe sell it. Keep in mind.... the car will always be worth more being numbers matching, even if it is not in the car. I have a logic that I apply to situations where there answer requires thought and consideration. Will you ever be sorry that you sold the numbers motor? Will you ever be sorry that you kept it? Either way you answer these two questions, you have your answer.
