Default Shingle roof......how long??

House across the street, needed new roof, so how long you all think it takes...

start to finish...8am this morning, 349 pm now

stripped, 2x sheets of OSB, underlayment done already, and it looks for all the world like ALL the shingles will be done....

in ONE day.......5-6 guys up there, one speaks english......

about 25 squares 5 hips and a valley.....but just 3 tab shingles....what a shame....

Had ours done 10 or so years ago...

One day for demo, 2 or 3 days (with 3 guys) to complete the job.

Took a week with our house. Showed up on Monday with the dumpster and equipment. Did the third garage and the rain came down. Showed up on Friday after a 3.5 days of rain and did about half the remaining house. Boss man came by told them it would be done tomorrow (Good Saturday). Next morning showed up at 6 AM and the rest of the house done by 7 PM that night. Good thing, Monday they showed up to do the gutters in the Rain again!
There were 3-4 men working on the roof at one time.

2 days here.
1st day, 5 guys ripping the old shingles off, repaired/replaced 2 sheets of OSB around chimney and vents,
ripped off 210' of gutters around the perimiter (hip roof, 1400 sq ft, 2 valleys).
Replaced ice dam mat 6' up, new valleys, starting shingling (about 1/4) the first day.
Installed new ridge vents second day, finished shingles, and added 7 roof vents (no ridge vent).
3 guys did the shingles, 2 college kids did the clean-up.All were english speaking anglos.

Gutter guys (2) came a week later and finished in one day.

5 left-over packages of shingles. I took 3 for the kid's/grandkids playhouse.
Took me the better part of a day to redo it (tear off, tar paper, shingle).

In Silicon Valley you could rent that for $2,250 a month.
