Thanks man. It’s not rocket science. I would vote for a conservative in a heartbeat if I believed in his platform more than the other guy. Race, creed, religion, sex are not factors for me.

And I do know about Hassan of Fort Hood infamy and another dude who tossed a grenade into a tent in theater. I wouldn’t vote for them.




Oh, let me also add that I believe that people are generally good and just trying to get by. Most of us have families, jobs, and care about one another and the world we live in. It’s not hard to see the bad apples. They are everywhere, but vastly outnumbered by the good. I see individuals, not groups.

But being truthful; many many people are not voting like that.

They're voting what is popular = Obama, Hillary, and now Biden/Kamala
They vote out of hate, spite, and triggered emotions = both sides
They vote one way because of misinformation = both sides.
They vote for personality.

The days of voting for a strong platform because a candidate seems good for America seems to be fading.

I’m not gonna change now. I couldn’t vote for trump or hillary so I did a write-in. Did I throw away my vote? Maybe, but I did what my conscience told me. I voted for obama too. Seemed like the right thing to do at the time. I don’t regret it.

I have one vote. I cast it and get on with my life and try to be a normal, decent human being.

I have hopes for any new prez because the people benefit.

I started this thread because of a private convo you and I had about the BLM.

Which turned into a civil discussion about voting for the right candidate.
In which anybody reading would see that some people do vote for candidates speaking of betterment, and wanting to improve their communities.

Voting for a candidate because of betterment (as seen in the video*), puts good people in office at the lower levels = local and state gov.



Term limits is another civil discussion to be had.
Some of those occupied offices smell like moth balls.
