Wise man he was.
My dad was born in 1927. He was never a car guy and never understood why I always had so many cars. I told him that “they make me money so I can afford to drive what I want and live the way I do.” The only school I went to after H.S. was the school of hard knocks. I started working at age 13 and have never been without a job unless I wanted to or owned my own businesses. I have not had a mortgage since 1997 or a car payment EVER in my life. I was born in the best generation EVER and was self taught by observing and learning from my environment.

Our course name was Business Application in Fortran. Was any business application ever written in Fortran.

BTW... think I still have a set of punch cards for an IBM 1130 in the attic.
