Too much car, not enough driver.

Glad no one was hurt.

Dibs on the wheels!

What kind of car was the little one?

It obviously had a weight advantage over the Vette.

I bet on the news it'll say something like "Driver of a Corvette........." where as if it was a Civic they'd just call it a Honda.
Tell that to the Corvette owners who refuse to admit that it's "just a Chevrolet"

His engine had one cooling line to the valve cover but had a lock cylinder on the p.side door.

Clearly people with pants hanging half way down their azz should be banned from driving Corvettes. Dumb phuck.

I've never seen a cooling line enter a valve cover.

But if you meant one fuel hose, coupled with your second observation, likely means it's a 1999.

Not the valve cover but the cover that covers the valve cover, you knew what I meant!

Can't be because there were two lines until 2001 and in 2000 they did away with the p.side lock cylinder.

I corrected my post. 99 was the last year for the pass. side keyhole.

Only 97 and 98s used the return style fuel system (2 hoses).

Hmmm, odd that there is a second Vett in the picture of the same color.

Nope, 97 & 98 only had the two lines.

2 possibilities:

1. Being in Canada, you probably have an export model car, and certain changes (or lack thereof) could be possible that I'm unaware of. C5s built for the US market went single fuel line in the 1999 model year.

2. The return-style fuel system is also popular with the high-hp crowd, and it is not an uncommon modification to see on heavily-modified later model C5s. (WKMCD's white 'vert comes to mind as one example).

You mean just like the title of this thread?

Let's not forget that statistically speaking, most idiot drivers do not drive Corvettes.
