The proper response after awaking to find that she was being put in a possibly dangerous situation would have been to immediately, but calmly tell the driver to slow the **** down. I wouldn't bring it up after the fact, but I would suggest that she pay close attention on the return trip, and confront him immediately if he does anything unsafe again.

He already drove them from the hotel to the plant this morning and she said he drove like Ms.Daisy. Problem resolved without issues.
