That's where CF went wrong; instead of getting on the case of a few obnoxious posters.... they instead came up with a bunch of rules for everyone. Sadly, these "rules" penalized people who were normally clean, but may have messed up once; or solely by accident.

I would hope that IC and the group know to not expand the rules; instead just weed-out the trouble makers that...

The get used for reasons never intended. Example:

that guy just posted something in OT that may show GW Bush in a positive light; and my cult expects me to fight back everytime this happens. So I'll PM a mod and say "hey, I thought we had a PR&C section"... get it moved (or locked); and smirk all day about what I just did"

What should happen:
moderator: "dear moron complainer; the post you're complaining of was of a news story for the 9/11 anniversary. Grow up, and stop mis-using forum rules/guidelines/moderators for your personal political gains. We'd rather ban you... than create a bunch of new rules that makes it difficult on everyone else.

It was great being part of a forum that used to remind me of CFOT in the old days while it lasted.
