A horse's bit I believe it is called a snaffle bit. I never saw a use for horses torture devices like some in here.

Snaffle bit for horsies. Not much use unless you want to hang plants I guess. Not worth putting on ebay for $20.

I think that is right. A couple guys at my buddy's shop thought it was some kind of bit. I admit to not knowing shit about horse tack.

Thanks!

Let me know if you do sell it on Ebay and get a decent amount. I have a couple laying around the tack room.

I never went to prison for driving drunk and killing my friend. So I've got that going for me.

Congratulations you went from ignorant to stupid.

ignorance vs. stupidity: What's the difference?
Although ignorance and stupidity are often used in similar ways, they have different nuances. Ignorance is simply the lack of knowledge, either in general or about a specific issue or topic. Stupidity refers to the lack of an ordinary level of intelligence, wit, or quickness of mind

You're the one who won't let the horse thing go. Doug had it absolutely correct. You are Antfarmer. You just can't help but let your true personality come out. A know-nothing blowhard. And a drunk.

But you have a couple of old anvils that have "experience", so you've got that going for you. Have a great day.

They don't do Paypal any more. It's credit card or bank debit card now.

I can't control who or what you believe. But making Doug your mentor speaks volumes.

As far as the horse thing goes it has been a big part of my life. I have taught many some are just unable or unwilling to learn. If you're so ****ing smart tell me what the advantages are of drugging and restraining your horse. Your lack of interest shows you don't care about your horses. But I am guessing you care enough about your wife that you at least hold the head for her but I may be wrong. I will always help those that don't know any better how to stop abusing animals.

I haven't looked at it in many years, but even back then, it was all tied to a credit card. It was paypal that managed the payments.

Instead of Douging up another thread of you slurping up his shit. Why don't you give your wife the information I provided?

Or direct deposit. Glad they ditched paypal, but ebay's fees are just plain stupid these days.

Look, Goober, the law says you have to be a licensed vet to float teeth. My vet earned his degree from Virginia Tech, a good vet school, and knows what he is doing. I've used him for years. I don't tell him how to do his job. I earned my BSME from Purdue and he doesn't tell me how to be an engineer. He does his job and presents me with a bill. I pay it. That's my job. It's called "division of labor". And, **** no, I don't hold the damn head. I don't want to be anywhere near it. I don't ride. If it were up to me, there wouldn't be any horses on my property, but they make my wife happy. As for their care, I will leave it to the professionals and not some know-it-all drunk who killed his friend but happens to own a couple of old anvils with lots of "experience".

Great now we have established you don't know shit about anything you are posting here. This was a thread about information about what this was. Why did you even come in here other than to regurgitate what you have been slurping up from Doug ass?

Now once again since you have trouble with reading comprehension. I did not say not to use your vet. I have worked hand in hand with some of the best in the country. And every one appreciated the fact that they no longer needed the risk involved in drugging and restraining the horse. Now give your wife the name Geoff Tucker DVM to Google.

I opened the thread because it was the only way to see the photo. You "Douged up" the thread with a jab at me in post #3. As for me not knowing what I am posting about, I never claimed to be a horse whisperer. I am simply a guy who has owned six of them. Five registered warmbloods and a Sweepstakes Arab. Everything that I have posted has been factual.

I'm sure that all the professional vets you have worked with just loved being told how to do their jobs by a country bumpkin with some old anvils. Hell, why did they even go to college when they could have just talked to you over 8 or 9 beers.
