I had a Chevy 2500 before this, I did enjoy it but not sure it’s worth the extra coin for my current situation.

This Yukon was built in Dallas and my wife’s car in Alabama...so I’m all about American manufacturing but those a-holes in Dallas clearly can’t build a car.

You'll get about the same mileage with the 2500 cummins as the eco diesel (I think...might be getting numbers mixed) and the price goes down considerably if you buy used 2 years old. The plus side is, the warranty is transferable and most places sell the 7yr/1 million mile warranty for just about $3K extra.

Those 12 inch screens are wild. I've heard of some issues with them. It might have been just the transplant to a different platform.

I’d be a done deal if they made a stretched version with more back seat.

The truck wasn’t even fully processed yesterday before I grabbed it for a test drive, so it goes back today to be detailed, I’ll grab better pictures then.

The "stretched" version is the Dodge Durango, with 3 rows. Same basic platform.

Yup it’s made to keep kids rear facing a long time.

The first pic is of the seat in a charger the come is with it in the yukon. In the ram the fron seat can be moved all the way back and it still won’t hit the car seat unless you recline the seat.

Damn, that is tight and that's not a particularly huge kid seat either.

First thing we dumped when we had our first daughter was the caddy CTS. Then we did the Yukon Denali thing for a few years. Nice truck but not the XL and needed more room.

3 kids later (a 4th counting my now 16 yr old daughter) and we've been rocking a '17 Expedition EL Limited with the 3.5 EB.
Truck had a few small glitches fixed under warranty but it's been rock solid so far and we've put 60K miles on it.

This is our 3rd 3.5 EB motor and they've all been phenomenal.
First truck ('15 F150) I put the Livernois Motor sports tuner on it which boosts it to 450hp\550tq and never had an issue.

Also driving an '18 F150 Lariat with the 3.5 and it rocks.

We kept our girls rear facing until 4yo. The flip to front facing is glorious, though

4is the goal...this truck gives me plenty of room to hang on I was already getting impatient with him in the Yukon still rear facing since he was cramping the passenger seat.

Ok 2 days of commuting in the truck. This seems to be an improvement in every way over the Yukon. Better ride on our harsh roads, more safety monitoring and cameras. Better radio. The Valet at day care today we’re going nuts over it they had no idea how nice the interior was going to be. The 4” of ride height adjustment is fun too.

I need to get more...and a few of the interior which is fantastic.

I think we’ve decided on a retractable bed cover, in black, but not sure I’ll do much else to this thing except drive it.

I have a Roll-N-Lock on my truck, well worth the price. Nice looking truck!
