I think the phone got confiscated by his caregivers because it's kind of the key to most of his issues. A lot of us added fuel to his fire. I know I did, before I realized what was actually going on. Hoping the best for him, as he is a good guy.

I think his mom and family----he posted a video on his theManicCatCamper youtube channel and he was at a different location with different cats.
I didn't mean to infer he was institutionalized, although that may be the case.
My gut tells me he's with family, at least I hope so.

She retired the next day.
Then we left for Paris, spent two days there, then a week on a 5-star river cruise touring the Sone, then the Rhone. Then a high speed train to spend a few days in Barcelona.
Before we left we put the city house on the market and it sold to the first viewer while we were in Paris, for full asking price. (I set it at the top of the range our Realtor, Gigi Babe, gave us.) No contingencies and no inspections. Looks like the work I did painting and cleaning the garage helped. (Those who thought otherwise were wrong as usual lol.) I also had a half-page list describing the "hidden" features': stuff that pussies don't understand like full masonry fireplaces, full masonry foundation walls, high efficiency heat pumps, reinforced retaining walls, permanent stairs to the super insulated attic...
Moved my licensed professional engineering office to our vacation home.
Bought Baby Doll a new computer: an HP all-in-one. Very cool. Now have that and both printers set up with wifi (no wires).
New cable internet instead of the slow DSL crap.
Got the Fiat Spider running, sent it over to Mike's for final painting before I drive it up to the new place.
Moved my workshop and the furniture that we decided to keep. Sold/ donated/ trashed the rest.
Got the antique Persian rug that my mother gave me "bathed" with new fringe and minor repairs; moved up to our new home. Switched around some rugs and now my 64 TBird is parked on a rug that Baby Doll deemed unworthy of her royal standards.
I'm slowly organizing my garage. Now that everything is in one place I can determine what can be trashed. Multiple dumpster runs. Very cool that they recycle mixed metals here. My vintage turntable, 2 feet of vinyl and rebuilt Advance speakers (serial #74 and 75) are now set up and playing. New heavy duty shelves with a small fridge full of beer and sparkling water underneath (acoustically isolated).
Now rewiring my Rockwell drill press.
