Morning all

Long rant here, but WTH else do I have to do. Cliffs at the bottom.
It has been a great summer season here, perfect weather for growing outdoor vegetation.
Yesterday I cut the grass (required every 5 days).
Next door neighbor's grass is quite long, hasn't been cut for 3 weeks.
I found out last week the dude had triple bypass
surgery, and a pace maker installed.Ended up getting Covid while hospitalized. Feeling kind of sorry for the dude (72) and his wife (66) who is also not in the best physical condition, I cut his grass too. About 3/4 of an acre. Got out my riding mower. Now, I saw his son who lives 1.5 hours away, cut his grass 3 weeks ago, but he's too busy to come down and cut it now because he's short of workers (he's the DA in a County to the North of here) and he has to take on extra cases due to Covid slow-down/worker shortages, Blah blah blah. Neighbor lady told me this later yesterday.
So anyway, neighbor and wife came over later in the day to thank me for doing the lawn, and offered $$, which I refused. If he would have asked me to do it, I may have accepted his offer, but as I said, I feel sorry for the dude, so Thanks, but no need to pay me. Then the dude asks me to walk over to his yard. "Why, did I screw up something?" No, he wanted to show me how to remove, and re-install his down-spout tubes which are 10 ft long " if for the next time you do it".
****ing putz, does he think I'm an idiot (don't answer that). So I told him, "I observed your set-up before I removed them, and re-installed the same way you had them". This dude has been my neighbor for over 20 years, big ****ing blow-hard wind bag furniture salesman now retired. He tells me that earlier in the morning, he took his wife to the shed to show her how to use his riding mower, but she couldn't manage it and she's too disabled to handle the walk behind mower. The way he talked down to her, in front of me, made me feel bad for her. I should have kicked his cane out from under the bastard. Never did like him. ****er better have beer for the next time I cut his grass, if I ever do it again, but I ain't holding my breath.

Cliffs: My neighbor is and always has been a ****wad.

I feel better now.
Have a good one.

Morning all

T-Mike, have Porter come up and cut the grass for the putz neighbor. He will never ask again. And in all regards I would have told him this was a one time event, he can hire a neighborhood kid next time.

Seriously, he's too cheap to do it.
Can't say it's typical of salesholes, but this dude fits the profile.

Good morning all. Hoping for more rain over the next week. Sounds like we should be getting some decent storms. Utah is having the 3rd driest year on record so we need it. Lake Powell and the Great Salt Lake are pretty much puddles.

I got your message Mike. I couldn't find your number though.

My Dad died 3 Aug 2022 at 1226 Eastern time. I was able to see him on the 30th of July but he could only squeeze my hand or mumble words unintelligibly.

Monday the 15 of Aug his ashes will be spread from a piper cub that his friend has over the lake that he has lived at for the last 30 years.

My back is starting to feel better it just hurts now instead of feeling like all the muscles are being torn when I move. I'm sick and tired of being hurt. It's taken me since April for my knee to get better enough for me to start walking without the brace. I just want to get over all this. I'm having issues with my right shoulder too, which I also hit in the accident. I'll need to make an appt for that as well.
