It would suck to be under 50, IMO.

I had 3 buddy's on my street get killed in car accidents in the late 60's early 70's that were 19, 21, and 22. in cars that couldn't compete with a Honda Civic today in speed. The cars are a lot faster but a lot safer. Idiot drivers have been around forever. I'am older than you and i enjoy cars that can do 12 second 1/4 and under 4 in 0-60 and top speed that you can never reach on our Highways. And agree those days were much better than today.

In my day, Mustangs could maybe do 120 mph and it took awhile. Fast cars did 13.5 quarter miles. Now we have 35 year old 'kids' driving 9 and 10 second cars and 180 mph Mustangs that cost peanuts. There's a Florida-based youtuber named Jonathan Harder who posts videos of him and his buddies going 180 mph on the FLA highways running from cops, etc. It's insane.

Some places require more serious attention to drive than others. Can definitely get the adrenaline pumping, but that doesn't bother me until maybe after I get where I'm going.

My vote for the worst goes to Ohio because everyone there does 5mph under the limit. Too many cops and nobody wants to be ticketed on a daily basis. Pass the locals doing the speed limit and they'll give you the evil eye, like you just raped their grandmother I go around that state, only other option would be to stop for a nap. Can't get nowhere driving like that. It's bad juju.

I gotta say I have seen some bizarre chit since moving down here from drivers. My personal opinion used to be Virginia drivers were the worst. NY etc...

I started riding again after many years. There are a ton of bikes down here, but the cars are trying to run most of us off the road Not sure if distracted or just suck at the driving part Anyway full time job trying to keep the shiny side up.
