Default LEO let me go
Holly crap I just got lucky. I was doing a little test run and was a little over 90 in a 55 zone. I looked up from my newly installed boost gauge while I was passing a LEO coming the other direction. He must have been busy, he never hit the breaks or lights. A few miles later I passed another LEO but I was behaving by then. Time to go and buy a lottery ticket.

Just remember that we are people too and yes some of us own vettes as well. If ur respectful and tell the truth U have a 50/50 chance of getting off. Just remember all day long we are called assholes and spit on so if u make us laugh u might just get off with a smile.....it comes with a warning i cant speak for everyone and especially state troopers but the humor does go along way for locals.

I know, LEO's are like us military (retired) guys, hated by some but needed by all.

Maybe I should head to Gloucester to see how lucky I can be up there.

Did you and PortDawg get that course figured out for a cruise or did you begun your mods?

When? I'm in Ft Campbell until 31 July. I know I have some ideas and Phil has a few ideas, we'll get them sorted when I get back.

I've always been let off when I was courteous and fessed up to what I was doing.... one time after getting pulled going 130+ in a 45 (it was a deserted country road) the cop asked me point blank "WTF were you doing going that fast?" To which I replied, "Well sir there's really no point in owning a car like this if you don't use it every once in awhile. I felt this was a good place to open her up seeing as I'm the only one out here... or so I thought."

He thought for a few seconds and said, "I agree... but don't do it again, consider this your lucky break." He could have easily cuffed me and had my car impounded as he had me clocked on radar near the top of 4th gear.

Except for Chesapeake cops in unmarked cars...giving me a damn ticket while driving an Ambulance WITH a patient in the back because the box of my truck was sticking out foot or two into an intersection (only partially blocking a right hand turn lane that could not have turned anyways) because the azzhat in front of me stopped with two car lengths between him and the car in front of him.

Then the azzhat pushing his power around STOPPED traffic and made me back my truck up and pull into the shopping center so he could write me a ticket...while the patient was in the back.

Glouchester Country Mounty got me for 68 in 55 right after where the limit goes 60 to 55. Young crew-cut young buck sitting in the median on RT 17 just beyond the rise of a small hill. I was already pulled over before he could turn his Hemi Charger around..."Hey guys, I got me on those doze Corvettes today, boy was he ever hauling ass...but yep, I got'em...with my Hemi Charger. I bet he hit 140 before I turned the lights on 'em"
