I lost a little brother when he was 17, and I was 23. I don't think it is something you ever "get over", just something you learn to live with. The dogs that I have been really close with are the same in my heart, will never "get over" their loss, just learn to move on.

Defib: I'm sorry you lost your best friend. Just remember that she would not want you to mourn her passing for long. She is in a better place now.

Truly sorry to hear.
