Yeah I saw Waters on HBO special they were having, and after one of his tunes, he had to spew his anti-government, anti-police, and how the world sucks due to capitalism. He can go **** him self and raise his own faggots. I tuned the TV to something else.

I like the music...just don't GAF about the band drama crap.

DSOTM was the 1st LP I bought as a kid in 1973 when it came out. I subsequently bought Ummagumma and Meddle.

Then I of course bought Wish You Were Here (one of my favorite LP's of all time) and Animals.

I was not a big fan of The Wall and began to lose interest. Waters was driving that bus.
I did buy Momentary Lapse Of Reason (and seen the concert), Gilmore was in charge. It was good but I had moved on.

At one point I had a substantial collection of Pink Floyd vinyl. Had bootlegs and several foreign pressings. I also had Piper At The Gates of Dawn, Saucerful of Secrets and Atom Heart Mother.

I did develge into the whole Syd Barrett thing. And I "got it".

But now at this point in my life I could give a chit. That was then...this is now.

The 79-year-old’s This Is Not A Drill Tour opens with Waters imitating a plummy British announcer and telling the audience: “If you’re one of those ‘I love Pink Floyd but I can’t stand Roger’s politics’ people, you might do well to **** off to the bar, right now. Thank you, and please enjoy the show.”

Waters certainly has a lot of politics. He is a vocal supporter of a free Palestine and Black Lives Matter, and has spoken out against right-wing demagogues including Brazil’s Jair Bolsonaro, Hungary’s Viktor Orbán, and former U.S. President Donald Trump.
