Morning Everyone

last day here in Bakersfield till after the first of the year. God od I need some down time. Working 11's 7 days a week is getting old. if it wasn't for the weekend the wife was out here and a weekend in Scottsdale playing Golf I would be going mad. Damn my post count has gone to hell as I doon't have time to get on line and goof off.

snow is pretty to look at and play in, not so much to drive in and shovel:







about 2" of fresh powder, on top of about 1" of rain/slush yesterday.

think i'll play inside today.

you know... when i think of NM i think of desert, heat, cacti.... i guess i had no idea that it got so cold and wintry there guess i shoud have paid more attention in Social Studies

Thanks for those pics Douglas, even though you didn't really want to take them, haha! Very pretty, strange though up here in the north we have green grass, and you in the desert have snow! the end is near.......

it wasn't as nice when we bought it last year. have spent $$$$$ fixing it up: roofs, stucco, water treatment system, renovated guesthouse interior......more to do next year.

we are at 7,000'

Taos is about an hour north.

there is also skiing closer to SF, but since i don't ski, i can't offer an opinion on it.
