That's the problem with crazy super custom junk...you can't really sell it.

I actually came fairly close to rhino-lining my purple 95 vette because it was going to be cheaper than a proper repaint, but I knew I'd lose a big chunk of my $7000 dollars I bought it for. Instead, I cleaned it real good and sold it for $6500 with faded paint and a 11k more miles on it than when I first acquired it.

I dont know if you remember mundo but, he had a 84 then a C5 and wrapped it around a tree then, bought a C4.

Pete, I think he really lives in Ramona. Unincorporated parts of the county like that don't have sidewalks, plus I saw the pics were he wrecked his C5. (lessen learned- always fix the failed C5 ABS/stability control since the 5's and 6's handle like a barbell with weight at both ends).

I do recall his bitching about how much slower an automatic C4 was compared to his modded C5. tried to save a buck and then complained when he could only get $5k for his 100k mile slushbox with highway gears when nobody would pay vette $.
