Well...round 2 here we go.

I tested positive for Covid today. I was negative Friday but felt "off". I spent the weekend with NyQuil and a remote. Tested this morning and popped positive.



To offer background. I have not been to dinner, had drinks, or anything with anyone for at least a week. Those who say they got Covid from "X" can't possibly know. I am surrounded by people that test 2-3 times a week and I don't shop, I don't dine out. I come home...period. Work, home, work, home....repeat as needed. Pow, I'm positive. No idea where this came from. Probably some vaccinated fast food drive thru worker.

Thursday - Slight headache. Tested negative
Friday - 102 Fever, sore throat, sneezing
Saturday -101.6 fever, sore throat, sneezing
Sunday - 99.6 temperature, congestion, tired
Monday - Sore throat only so I went back to work. Took a test as soon as I got there...POW. Positive. This is an RT LAMP test confirmed with a PCR test. I don't know if the dogs hit on my mask yet.

shit happens,i've been home for the past 5 days because my son tested positive on weds and as far as he knows none of his peers tested positive.
He said he had a weird cold and stomach felt off also took the rapid test at the urgent care and I took the one that takes 2-3 days I came back negative nor felt any symptoms.
His cleared up on day 3 and he just took the at home test and it's also now negative.

While this has instilled a bit of doubt with regard to natural immunity, it also makes me think once this passes, I should be more immune than before.

14 months almost to the day.

I'll STILL choose my own immune system of the jab. If this one is no worse than a cold, the next round, and all subsequent rounds, should be asymptomatic. Allowing me to give without asking anything in return.

Based on the little I’ve read on all this probably two different variants. Delta and Omicron maybe?

That's what the wife and I had on Jan 1 with PCR positive tests... the Omicron variant. Apparently the jabs kept us away from the Delta; but not the Omicron (or they just lost effectiveness; got the initial pair of shots in March).

Yvonne just had a little cold like issue, but it was a lot worse on me.

That's what I am hoping it is. Now they can jam their needle where the sun doesn't shine. I am super-immune.

I can say that I took NyQuil an hour ago and I would swear I don't have anything wrong with me at all. I have had colds that have been 100 times worse. When the NyQuil wears off, my head will get stuffy again and I may get a headache or slight fever, but that will be it.

Unless I die in my sleep....which means it is much worse.

I've had it twice... both times it sucked. However, lost my brother-in-law 2 weeks ago to it, he was very healthy and in good shape.

Hope you get past it quickly with no issues.
