4th Annual “Vettes Doin Charleston”

Please join us on April 16th in beautiful historic Charleston, SC for our 4th Annual ALL CORVETTE SHOW sponsored by the Coastal Carolina Corvette Club. What a beautiful time to visit Charleston as our town will be in full bloom and the gardens, plantations and weather will be amazing! I am sure that many of the clubs are making plans for the 2011 show season and I want to make sure that Charleston, SC is on your list.

We will have nine Classes including all generations. We will be offering Peoples Choice Judging as well as Scored Judging this year. To enter the Scored Judging there will an additional fee of $5.00 and you can enter both portions of the show. There will be show pins, more than Forty plaques plus trophies for Best of Show, Best Engine, Best Paint, along with door prizes. In addition there will be vendors, National Corvette Museum items for sale, and entertainment. The show is being held at the Tanger Outlet Center Tanger Outlet Centers in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Beginning February 1st, pre-registration can be done at our website Coastal Carolina Corvette Club by clicking the tab "Vettes Doin' Charleston". You can pay by PayPal or mail in your registration form with a check. Pre-registration is $25.00 (includes a show t-shirt), add additional $5.00 if you are doing the Scored Judged show and pre-registration will end on March 27th. After March 27th the registration fee will be same as above excluding the show t-shirt. Show t-shirts will not be sold at the show. Proceeds from the show will benefit the National Corvette Museum.

Trailered Corvettes must be off-loaded outside of the show area and must be driven through the registration station onto the show lot. Trailer parking will be offered near the show area.

For all pre-registrants there will be a Meet and Greet Affair on Friday night April 15th at our host hotel with complementary food, refreshments and music. The Host Hotel and Show Headquarters is the Holiday Inn Charleston Airport & Convention Center (www.holidayinn.com/chastnairport) located at 5264 International Blvd., North Charleston, SC 29418 which is near the show site. Call 843-576-0300 for reservations and special rates and tell them you are with the Coastal Carolina Corvette club show.

Sounds like fun,I think I will have to make this one,I have been doing the Gathering in Savannah put on by the Coastal Corvette Asso. each year but the fun has gone out of that one.See ya there.

I love Charleston and have been promising to take the wife there for a couple years now, I don't know if the 16th is good for me though or if the wife would want to hang out at a car show all day.

I know what you mean,I usually have to do car shows by myself unless they are in small towns with plenty of shops for the women to check out.

She got me a Corvette camping chair for Carlisle today so she is starting to come around.
