Default Electricians, step on in
I can't find a Code reference requiring labeling of GFCI or AFCI slave outlets. This leads me to believe that they are not required. Am I correct, or not?

All GFCI protected receptacles have to have a sticker stating such. Section 406.4(D)(2)(c)

Thanks for that reference, But, the way I read this, the answer is 'not required'. [emp mine]

My house had them labeled however, the label adhesive was similar to Post-It adhesive and the builder told me it was fine to remove them.

I know this is note a "code" reference, but it's as close as I could get.
