When our daughter started driving, I gave her my 2008 Lexus ES350 and bought my wife a Honda Pilot. Now I drive my wife's old car... a 2010 Buick Enclave.

My DD is a 16 Toyota Tundra 4X4. Being this is the winter its equipped with a Fischer plow and about 500 pounds by the tailgate for traction on my rather nasty hilly curved driveway. My wife's DD is a 20 4x4 SUV. Ah life in upper NY State.

With proper winter tires it's just as good as any other rear wheel drive car.
I run Bridgestone Blizzak DM-v2 tires and I have no issues. I've been driving V8 powered Chargers in the winter since 2007. Proper winter tires and commons sense go a long way... I see people with AWD vehicles driving like turtles every time it snows. Why even bother with the AWD then? |

My DD is an '07 C6 convertible. Just passed 100k miles. I avoid driving it in the rain unless it's already dirty but it's seen more than its share.

97 DeVille, dark Burgundy in color, 125k on it. Wonderfully riding car that gets good mileage for a land yatch. I expect 200 to 250k out of it easily. Plenty of power with the N* engine. Stock except for a sound system, needed bluetooth and a rear camera.

'72 vette vert, nothing stock wheels to roof, stem to stern, except the chrome bumpers, it gets run outta the garage for a typical 2-8 mile round trip to the store and back, maybe 3-4 times/week.....
