Default What is your alcohol weakness ?

Mine is scotch. I think it’s because it’s a bit snooty, but I treat scotch like wine.

Weakness is: you’ll drink it no matter what.

I got served when one of my relatives visited Scotland and brought back a tasting flight from our island (McLeod). Holy shit was it bad. But I steeled myself, and drank it for my relatives.

I will say that a well made Vodka Martini with Blue cheese stuffed olives can pry me from Scotch.

I tried scotch once....once.

I've also tried beer around the world and it's all similar to licking the toilet lid of a Port-O-Potty in the Middle East at 5pm on an August day. More, the Port-O-Potty is used by Iraqi's who have to be told not to stand on the toilet lid and also asked how shit is on the plastic sides.

So what do I drink? I have to go with a Rum and coke with the coke put in with an eye dropper. That Korean elixir Soju is tolerable but you have to put up with the hallucinations too. Imagine walking outside and seeing a dude up in a tree singing.....while naked. Not good man, not good.

1. Beer

2. A real good zingy Bloody Mary

3. Gin - Hendricks by choice, Martini stirred dry as the Sahara

Almost any beer is ok, but for hard stuff/80 proof....I like Canadian Hunter.....

fill up tumbler 2/3 with ice, fill up ~60% with bottle, then top off with water....nice and easy with no shock affect.....

A good cold beer. Too many good ones to list.

Single malt scotch neat.

Bourbon neat.

Red wine.

Vodka martini.

Gin and tonic with Uncle Val's Restorative gin.

A good margarita.

Let me think about my second favorite.....

there are different styles and blends, you may have ha da shitty one. others might have different bite, smoothness, flavor. take johnny blue as an example. its very easy drinking, too easy for some. eggie could pound a bottle of it in a night and g to bed happy. some prefer the much less expensive j.w. red because it has a bite.

my weakness...pretty much whatever you put in a glass except gin.

Whiskey/Bourbon. There are several that I like. Jack Daniels Gold or Silver label single barrel are really good. There are several Irish Whisky's that I like, so no need in naming them all.
