Sounds like you got a good deal.

I paid about the same for my 04 almost a year ago and I've had to put a couple thousand into it and it still needs a few things fixed. Like grinding going into 4th gear.

I did lots of research on auction and from black book. I ended up being 1500 over auction, but with this model and its condition. it was a no brainer.

Congrats man! I miss my C5. I paid 25k for it at Manheim in 2005, spent about 5k in upgrades and paint(NYC car so had to get both bumpers sprayed). Only put about 4k miles on it and sold it four years ago for 23k. I see yours is a CE, but they seem to be holding value well!
