Good morning Mr Jim and Bear. I saw my dr Monday and he said lungs were clear. I’m still coughing a little but feeling much better. Thank you for asking. Dr said whatever this upper respiratory bug is, it’s taking 2-3 weeks to get over it and then a lingering cough. J went yesterday. He’s still coughing.
I know others here are battling very serious health problems. Continued prayers and good thoughts and best wishes for you too.

New clamp and it held pressure, it was only seeping a wee bit and only when first hit gas. Wasn't enough to leave a drip but could smell it as the leak a ft from air intake for cabin. Still might change heater core since already in bench. Been looking for this leak for several months ajd wasn't the first time I pressure tested it. Anywho....

Have a good day everyone.

I'll be yanking the instrument cluster bezel off my dually today. Need to replace the light control module. I leave it on "Auto" 95% of the time, but will occasionally override it when it is foggy or misty. Noticed that my running lights were turning themselves off when in this mode (I can see the hip lights in my side mirrors). When I would fiddle with the switch, they would come back on. Part was only $18.50 off Amazon.

2 to 3 weeks is a long time to recover... Must be something nasty.
That coughing messes with and sleep drags you down.
I had a nasty bug one Christmas and was in bed for 4 or 5 days, completely missed the holiday.
My wife has been sick 2 or 3 times already in the last couple of months and son picked up a stomach bug that spread like wildfire where he works. I've been avoiding them both and about out of lysol

Part was probably 126.50 at a local place and 400 at the dealer ...

Wife's Bimmer has a bad o ring at the turbo causing a slight leak. I haven't found the time or motivation to tear into it.

Took my 21 year old daughter to the airport in her 15 SRX yesterday. She had been complaining that her AC was acting up, so I told her I would check it out while she was on her trip and not driving it. The Infotainment screen is bad. It was replaced once under warranty when the car was still her mom's, and I remember the cost would have been about $2k. I figure I need to get it working before I can even address the AC, so I bought one from cuescreens.com for $139.00. Local stereo shop quoted me $799 to replace it, and I figure they are paying $100 or less for the screen, so this should be a fun job.

This must be what I am fighting for the last few days. Nyquil to sleep through the cough, and miserable coughing up orange phlegm first thing in the morning, but managable the rest of the day.
