Local kids parks

Wife and I usually take our grandson Blaze to local parks when we watch him so daughter can work ....got me wondering why someone hasen't come up with a materia lto use for the slides that won't get to a temperature that would ignite matches touched to the surface They also seem to always be in full sun

Plastic seems to work well here in FL or else they wouldn't be using it everywhere.

Oh, and watch out for people who live in vans down by the river snooping around the playgrounds. They are a shady bunch, I tell ya......

Always wonder why 90% of parks have everything in full sun, nothing like a metal slide burning your legs I say though.

It's to get them kids running and moving fast so they don't turn into fat, lazy slobs early in life

We had a merry-go-round at the park behind us, when I was a teen we would wrap a rope around it tied to a truck and pull it as fast as we could. if you weren't pinned to one of the bars you were coming off it in a spectacular display of hurtness

Well I wonder what kind of plastic it is because the plastic slides here will have you bursting into flames before you get to the bottom when they are in the sun most of the day

If the plastic isn't way too hot, it generates static electricity. So you either burn your legs or get electrocuted.
