Got this in my email today from the local FOP Lodge.:


PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN'S ABSENCE AT CPL. HEACOOK FUNERAL – UNACCEPTABLE

On April 25, DelMar Police Officer Keith Heacook was brutally beaten after being dispatched
to a residence where two elderly individuals had been assaulted.
Upon his arrival he too became a victim of the assailant. Other police units were dispatched
and found Officer Heacook severely injured. The assailant was apprehended and officer
Heacook was transferred to the hospital where he passed away three days later.

I was unable to attend his May 10th funeral in Salisbury, MD, but as a retired law enforcement
officer, I watched his service on my computer. In addition to his family, friends and supporters,
more than a thousand police officers from multiple states filed by his casket.

Kudos to the Delaware and Maryland State Police and other police agencies who organized this
impressive service. My thanks to Gov. John Carney and Gov. Larry Hogan for their sincere
comments to the family and public.

But a very obvious absence was that of President Joseph Biden or any representative of the
White House. Nor did I see Delaware's Sen. Tom Carper or Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester. I was
told Senator Chris Coons was present but made no comments.

It was both shameful and disrespectful that President Biden who, according to the LA Times,
visited the family and funeral of George Floyd in Minneapolis and plans to visit the Floyd
family on the coming anniversary of his death, but ignored the family of a fallen officer only
miles from one of his homes in Rehoboth Beach.

Similarly retired police officer Thomas Brackin noted in a May 23rd letter to the [DE] State
News that Biden's Police Week message blamed law enforcement for the distrust and fear felt
by black and brown communities toward police. His divisive message missed the point that
many police officers are themselves respected members of black and brown communities.

Mr. President, it's time you realize police officers, many of whom are also veterans are
brothers and sisters working as a team no matter the ethnic backgrounds or the color of their
skin. As someone who served 34 years in law enforcement and two tours in Vietnam, unlike
you, I know of what I speak.

My prayers and condolences to the Heacook family.

I have to agree with this. It's a bit unreasonable to expect the President to attend every funeral of every LEO killed in the line of duty. It's equally unreasonable for him to attend the funeral of someone who polarized the country in a most divisive way.

I know most of us love to find things to hate about this President (and it's fairly easy), but this case is really a non-issue. Presidential attendance at a funeral should really be limited to heads of state and other dignitaries.

I agree with this. Absolutely.


Having said that, inviting the family of a dead career criminal to the White House is a smack in the face to decent Americans, and obviously part of the demoralization campaign by the Biden junta.

Pushing the lionization of street thugs, trannys, roving violent street gangs like the blm and antifa, and other deviants, while screwing over regular Americans is a concerted demoralization campaign.

Floyd was ODing on fentinal. The previous 8 minutes of the video was him sitting on the curb saying he couldn't breathe.

All kinds of misconduct in the trial. One jury was at a BLM protest in DC and swore under oath he wasn't during selection. Major payoff to the family as the jury was being picked. Judge did NOT sequester the jury and they admitted watching TV and surfing social media.

LOTS of WTF on both sides with this shitstorm.

I am referring to the scumbag Floyd. 12 Jurors did find th ecop guilty. Floyd is now a dead career criminal so no other pregnant women needs to fear him hold a gun to her belly.

Biden is PANDERING to the black voters. They are not telling them that Biden is the one who wrote the laws that made more black criminals and put more in prison.
