It's official we are no longer "flat landers". Got everything up here in one trip. Gonna take a month to get everything sorted out. It's been a helluva long day. It's hot and I'm whooped.

We had movers to do it for us. Two 26' box trucks and four guys got it done in about 13hrs. Then they had a another 4hr ride back.

Unfortunately the liberal cities run the entire state, which is too bad. There are some gorgeous parts of CA, but the ultra-liberal state government is doing their best to ruin it.

Congrats... the state of CA is beautiful. So sad it's become what it has.

Kudos for finding a a location that's tolerable. Politically things suck about everywhere these days. Guess it's mostly a red state except for the coastal counties.

Yeah, I wanted out of this state really bad but wife doesn't want to be away from our two daughters and grandkids (Third daughter bailed out and lives in Nebraska about ten years ago). I pleaded my case and tried to convince her, she finally got tired of me nagging and bitching, told me you can go. I had to think about that one for a few days before conceding

It's a small town in the mountains but most here are like minded as me (If that's saying much ) But guns, Non-politically correct and FWD drive is the norm. I'm likin' it
